Dub Siren DX Privacy Policy

Sawa Digital LLC. Effective October 31, 2026.

Dub Siren DX is a dub siren and DJ effects app for iPhone and iPad. It has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking. This page explains the small amount of data involved in using it.

Anonymous usage count

From version 3.6, while the app is open or playing audio, it sends a short signal to our server about once a minute so we can count how many people are using it. The signal contains:

• a random code, made fresh each time the app starts and never saved on your device
• whether you are on an iPhone or iPad
• the app version
• whether the app is in the foreground or background

It contains no name, account, location, station, song or sample pack. We do not store your IP address with it. The random codes are deleted within about 10 minutes, and after that we keep only the highest count for each day. We do not use this data to identify you, and we do not share it.

Purchases

Purchases are handled by Apple. We do not receive your name or payment details. When you buy or restore a sample pack, the app sends Apple's signed proof of purchase to our server, which checks it and delivers the pack. The permission to download is kept for about 5 minutes. To limit abuse, the server briefly counts requests using a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address.

Radio stations

When you play a radio station, your device connects directly to that station's server, which can see your IP address as with any online stream. Each station runs its own service under its own policies. We do not record what you listen to.

Your music and files

If you allow access to your music library, or add files to the app, they stay on your device and are not sent to us.

Web hosting

The app downloads its radio list and sample packs from our website. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a limited time.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
